Even though English is not my first language, I find that book "Honoring the Dream" very dear and comprehensive. It really reflects Justina's knowledge of dreamwork based on her love and passion for the theme, her constant study and her years of experience. Justina has the wisdom of expressing complex concepts into simple words. I think this book is a real treasure. I strongly recommend it.
-- Lic. AnaLucia MacKenney, Guatemala Psychologist
“Justina Lasley has written a book for the dream group leader. As a result, she treats in depth topics that most books only mention in passing, and addresses some issues that are rarely mentioned at all. Most dream books focus on technique and simply assume that dreamwork is helpful and fosters personal growth. Lasley considers how people change, and the role that dreaming can play in this process, as the foundation for a discussion of how the dream group-and it’s leader-can facilitate change. Lasley’s presentations are clear, concise, and grounded in practical experience. Extensive appendices include a glossary, bibliography, the ASD Ethics Statement, sample handouts on topics like improving dream recall and group guidelines, and even sample forms for new member intake, dreamwork logs, and group evaluation. Even the most experienced dream worker will find helpful material here, and those considering leading a dream group for the first time will find it invaluable. Highly recommended.”
-- Richard Russo, President of International Association for the Study of Dreams
This book lives up to its promise: It is an outstanding distillation of the years of experience that the author has made in forming and leading dream groups. It is simply chock full of highly useful tips and guidelines both for someone wishing to begin leading a dream group and improve what transpires in an existing group. It is extremely practical and down to earth. At this point I can think of no better book for those wishing to help others with their dreams in this way. This is a good companion to Hoss’ Dream Language.
