Dreams Visions of the Night - Weekend Workshop at the New York Open Center March 23 - 25, 2007 | | | Dreams: Visions of the Night Justina Lasley, MA Stanley Krippner, PhD
We all are given visions each night of how we might live in a more spiritual, fulfilling way. Are you receiving and understanding the message? The intention is to demonstrate the practical use of dreams. Dreams can help uncover your innate gifts, talents, and abilities, with Justina Lasley and Stanley Krippner as your guides.
Friday evening: The opening session sets the stage to explore the power of dreams, to understand the value they hold for you. Learn to have greater recall, find meaning in your dreams, and use them as a valuable resource to move forward in your personal growth and spiritual well being. Bring your questions and reflections.
Saturday’s workshop session: You are asked to bring your dreams (or hope for dream recall) and work to find the gold of your dreams. Learn to identify and honor the emotions of your dreams and find how emotions lead to new awareness and choices in your life. Work with your dreams within a safe group approach to move to new understandings. Take the dreams that come to you as a gift each night, unwrap them, and find your most spiritual, creative, and authentic self.
Sunday’s workshop closing session: Stanley Krippner will lead you through dream exploration with personal mythology. Personal myths are the worldviews and beliefs that influence our opinions, our intentions, and our decisions. Many of them are unconscious, and false or irrational personal myths often are responsible for behaviors that are ill-advised and contrary to our well-being. Dreams are an excellent tool for discovering and evaluating personal myths. Workshop participants will learn a method to enable them to identify their personal myths, including sources in the early years of their lives, and whether these myths are supporting or undermining their endeavors and their happiness.
The weekend will be an appropriate experience for those who are beginning their dream interest as well as those who have extensive experience with dream work.
Note: Friday’s introductory class is a prerequisite for the weekend workshop, and may also be taken independently of the full workshop.
